Are you an ambitious artist, writer or creative professional? Would you like to further develop your practice in the unique studios at Haarlem Artspace?


As well as having the opportunity to work with like-minded creatives and artists, studio holders are also invited to participate in an exciting program of contemporary exhibitions and events. These will link with the annual Wirksworth Arts Festival and the wider creative community through our connections to broader artistic networks. We are also developing commissions and a residency programme.


Criteria for applicants Artists, designers or creatives applying for studio space or flexible co-working space must be:


• Prepared to commit their time and energy to their practice and to ensure that the opportunity is made full use of;

• Willing to contribute to Haarlem Artspace’s ongoing programme of development (e.g. deliver talks / attend network meetings / take part in group critiques / contribute to an event);

• Prepared to ensure that the space is respected and looked after.


Pricing


Our studios range in price from £50 to £200 per month, including all utilities. Our smallest studio is 4 square meters and our largest is 15 square meters.



Co-working spaces at Haarlem Artspace and Associate Artist Scheme





Haarlem Artspace is a place where people can plan, talk and think, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It was set up so that artists and people in the creative industries in and around Wirksworth could have an alternative to working on their own.

We offer a shared environment within a friendly and creative atmosphere, where you can bring your laptop to work and network alongside other people from a range of artistic and creative professions.

Pricing

£45 per month – Flexible co-working space inclusive of all utilities.


Associate Artist.Our Associate artist scheme offers artists and creative practitioners working in contemporary artistic practices membership at Haarlem Artspace.

Associates access a range of services designed to support their creative and professional development: information, skills development, resources, networking, research trips, promotion and critical dialogue are on offer.
